R ESOLUTION N O. 2023-063
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING P URCHASE OF A S NOW R EMOVAL S IDEWALK M ACHINE TO
S UPPORT S NOW R EMOVAL O PERATIONS
WHEREAS, the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) identifies funds to purchase a snow removal
sidewalk machine to support snow removal operations through replacement of Unit 5020; and
WHEREAS, the City may make purchases off the state contracts; and
WHEREAS, Hardline Equipment, has a contract with the state for the sidewalk machine meeting
the City’s specifications, State Contract No. 200119; and
WHEREAS, the existing unit, will be sold via auction upon the receipt of new unit.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the purchase of one current model sidewalk machine from Hardline Equipment to
complete snow removal on city sidewalks and trails is approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the amount due to Hardline Equipment is $195,900.00 for one
sidewalk machine (no sales tax is due to Hardline Equipment) for a total expenditure of $195,900.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funding would come from Central Equipment Fund 600-70-760-
76001-8100.500 in the amount of $195,900.00.
