Special Council Meeting
January 10, 2023
Mayor Wosje called a Special Meeting of the Plymouth City Council to order at 5:00 p.m. in the Medicine
Lake Room of Plymouth City Hall, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, on January 10, 2023.
PLYMOUTH COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Wosje, Councilmembers Willis, Davis, Peterson, Pointner, Gregor.
PLYMOUTH COUNCIL ABSENT: Councilmember McGregor.
PLYMOUTH STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Callister, Deputy City Manager Solano, Public Works Director
Thompson, Park and Recreation Director Tomlinson, Human Resources Director Timpone, Finance
Director Rich, Public Safety Director Fadden, Fire Chief Coppa, Communications Manager Kastner, City
Attorney Mattick, and City Clerk/Administrative Coordinator Gallup.
Commission Interviews
Council conducted interviews to fill one vacancy on the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission.
Discuss HRA Vacancy
Council discussed the Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) vacancy and directed staff to re‐post
the position for two additional weeks.
City Attorney Presentation
City Attorney Mattick gave a presentation to the Council on open meeting law, data practices, conflicts of
interest, gift law, and rules of order.
Future Study Sessions
The following changes were made to future study sessions:
Schedule Prudential and Four Seasons Update on January 24 at 5 p.m.
Schedule Board & Commission Recognition Event on February 28 at 5 p.m.
Schedule Council Strategic Workshop Follow Up on March 14 at 5 p.m.
Schedule City Center Update on March 28 at 5 p.m.
Adjournment
Mayor Wosje adjourned the meeting at 6:58 p.m.
