R ESOLUTION A PPROVING P LANS AND S PECIFICATIONS, AND O RDERING A DVERTISEMENT
FOR B IDS FOR THE 2023 C ITY C ENTER P AVEMENT R EHABILITATION P ROJECT (ST230001)
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the City Council adopted January 24, 2023, the City
Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for improvement No. ST230001, the improvement of the
2023 City Center Pavement Rehabilitation Project including the streets north of State Highway 55, east
of Vicksburg Lane, south of Rockford Road, west of Plymouth Boulevard, and 34th Avenue from 400 feet
east of Plymouth Boulevard to Fernbrook Lane by full depth reclamation of streets, installation and
replacement of concrete curb and gutter, trail construction, water main repairs, storm sewer repairs,
sanitary sewer repairs, and all necessary appurtenances, and has presented such Plans and
Specifications to the Council for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof,
are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and on Quest
CDN an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and
specifications. The advertisement shall be published two times, shall specify the work to be done, shall
state that bids will be received online by QuestCDN until 11:00 a.m. on February 24, 2023 at which time
they will be publicly displayed in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center building at 3400
Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Engineer and City Clerk, will then be tabulated,
and will be considered by the council at 7:00 p.m. on April 11, 2023, in the Council Chambers. Any
bidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to
address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be considered unless submitted online via
the QuestCDN bidding site and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified
check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid.
