R ESOLUTION N O. 2023-032
R ESOLUTION O RDERING P RELIMINARY E NGINEERING R EPORT FOR THE
2023 C ITY C ENTER P AVEMENT R EHABILITATION P ROJECT (ST230001)
WHEREAS, the 2023-2032 Capital Improvement Program made recommendations for the 2023
City Center Pavement Rehabilitation Project; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to undertake a Preliminary Engineering Report to determine the work
required on each street recommended to be considered for the 2023 City Center Pavement
Rehabilitation Project (ST230001); and
WHEREAS, the streets north of State Highway 55, east of Vicksburg Lane, south of Rockford
Road, west of Plymouth Boulevard, and 34th Avenue from 400 feet east of Plymouth Boulevard to
Fernbrook Lane is the recommended project area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the City Engineer is hereby instructed to prepare a Preliminary Engineering Report
with all convenient speed by advising the Council, in a preliminary way, as to whether the proposed
improvements are feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with
some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvements as recommended.
