R ESOLUTION N O. 2023-030
R ESOLUTION TO A UTHORIZE “N O P ARKING” FOR THE
2023 G LEASON L AKE D RIVE I MPROVEMENTS P ROJECT (ST239001)
WHEREAS, Gleason Lake Drive, from Vicksburg Lane to Carlson Parkway, is classified as a major
collector roadway and is a Municipal State Aid Street; and
WHEREAS, this segment of roadway currently does not accommodate parking; and
WHEREAS, the north side of Gleason Lake Drive, from Harbor Lane to Carlson Parkway, is
currently signed for “No Parking” but an official resolution memorializing the restriction of parking could
not be located; and
WHEREAS, an official resolution memorializing the restriction of parking is required in order for
the roadway to be eligible for Minnesota State Aid funds to be used to improve the roadway; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the recommended “No Parking” along this segment of
roadway is appropriate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that it hereby authorizes the installation of “No Parking” signs along both sides of Gleason
Lake Drive from Vicksburg Lane to Carlson Parkway.
