R ESOLUTION N O. 2023-025
R ESOLUTION O RDERING P RELIMINARY E NGINEERING R EPORT FOR THE
2023 G LEASON L AKE D RIVE I MPROVEMENTS P ROJECT (ST239001)
WHEREAS, the 2023-2032 Capital Improvement Program made recommendations for the 2023
Gleason Lake Drive Improvements Project; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to undertake a Preliminary Engineering Report to determine the work
required on each street recommended to be considered for the 2023 Gleason Lake Drive Improvements Project
(ST239001); and
WHEREAS, Gleason Lake Drive from Vicksburg Lane/Black Oaks Lane/Townes Road to Carlson
Parkway, Niagara Lane from Gleason Lake Drive to the City of Minnetonka border, and Kingsview Lane
from Niagara Lane to Gleason Lake Drive is the recommended project area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the City Engineer is hereby instructed to prepare a Preliminary Engineering Report
with all convenient speed by advising the Council, in a preliminary way, as to whether the proposed
improvements are feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with
some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvements as recommended.
