R ESOLUTION N O. 2023-012
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING D ELEGATED C ONTRACT P ROCESS A GREEMENT
WITH THE M INNESOTA D EPARTMENT OF T RANSPORTATION TO R ECEIVE F EDERAL F UNDS
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation (“MnDOT”) wishes to cooperate closely
with local units of government in the delivery of transportation projects with federal Department of
Transportation (“DOT”) funds; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth was notified the Station 73 Transit and Regional Improvement
Project (TRIP) was awarded DOT funds through the Rebuild American Infrastructure with Sustainability and
Equity (RAISE) grant; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth wishes to cooperate closely with MnDOT to have MnDOT act as the
local agency collecting federal funds and then distributing them to the City as the project progresses, and
WHEREAS, the delegated contract process (DCP) agreement (MnDOT Contract No. 1052068)
prescribes the terms and conditions of said federal aid participation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. Pursuant to Minnesota Stat. Sec. 161.36, the Commissioner of Transportation be appointed as
Agent of the City of Plymouth to accept as its agent, federal aid funds which may be available for
eligible transportation related projects.
2. The Mayor and City Manager are authorized and directed to execute and enter into MnDOT
Agency Agreement 1052068 with the Commissioner of Transportation.
