Item:Commission Interviews
1.Action Requested:
Conduct two interviews for the vacant Ward 3 seat on the Park and Recreation Advisory
Commission.
2.Background:
Applications were solicited for the City's boards and commissions with a deadline of November 14.
Council reviewed the applications at a study session on November 29 and selected 10 individuals to
be interviewed on December 13. Council directed staff to invite two additional candidates to
interview on January 10 for the vacant Ward 3 seat on the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission.

1.Action Requested:
Discuss HRA vacancy and provide staff direction to re-advertising the position or invite additional
candidates from the current list of interested applicants to interview.
2.Background:
The Council's candidate for appointment to the Housing and Redevelopment Authority, Jamie Page,
has indicated he is no longer interested in the HRA appointment. Council can re-advertise for
additional candidates or review the current list of interested applicants.
