R ESOLUTION A DOPTING T AX L EVIES
FOR T AXES P AYABLE 2023
WHEREAS, the City Council has given preliminary approval to the proposed operating
budgets for calendar year 2023. The proposed budgets require monies to be raised from property
taxes on taxable property in the City of Plymouth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the amounts listed above be raised by property tax on taxable property in the City
of Plymouth for taxes payable in 2023 as set out in the proposed 2023 budget.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the scheduled debt levies for the Series 2020A and 2021A of
$2,663,010 and $1,353,082.50, respectively, are hereby cancelled and will be levied at a reduced
amount of $2,267,392 and $787,241, respectively, and there are sufficient funds on hand to cover
the debt service payment.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the said preliminary property tax levy be certified to the
County Auditor of Hennepin County on or before December 28, 2022.
