R ESOLUTION N O. 2022-322
R ESOLUTION A UTHORIZING THE A CCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF 15 AUTOMATIC EXTERNAL
DEFIBRILLATORS THROUGH THE H ELMSLEY C HARITABLE T RUST
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Police Department has identified a need to replace their current
automatic external defibrillators; and
WHEREAS, the Helmsley Charitable Trust has awarded an $18 million grant intended to purchase
automatic external defibrillators for all law enforcement agencies in Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the Helmsley Charitable Trust has donated 15 automatic external defibrillators to the
Plymouth Police Department to provide critical medical care more effectively.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that donation of 15 automatic external defibrillators valued at $30,000, from the Helmsley
Charitable Trust is hereby accepted.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 13th day of December, 2022.
