R ESOLUTION A WARDING C ONTRACT FOR B OX C ULVERT/B RIDGE
FOR C HANKAHDA T RAIL R ECONSTRUCTION P HASE 2 P ROJECT
(ST230002)
WHEREAS, on October 25, 2022, the Council authorized bidding for the box culvert section for
this project (Resolution No. 2022-270); and
WHEREAS, the City has prepared specifications, advertised, received and opened bids on
December 2, 2022 at 10:00 am; and
WHEREAS, the following two bids were received; and
Item Bid Amount
Hancock Concrete Products $346,126.64
Rinker Materials $383,584.00
Engineer’s Estimate $300,000.00
WHEREAS, Hancock Concrete Products’ qualifications and work performance are compliant with
the City’s Responsible Bidder qualification policy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the contract is awarded to Hancock Concrete Products and the Mayor and City
Manager are authorized to sign the contract signifying the City’s approval.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 13th of December, 2022.

The undersigned, being the duly qualified and appointed City Clerk of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota,
