C ITY OF P LYMOUTH
R ESOLUTION N O. 2022-295
R ESOLUTION A CCEPTING A D ONATION O F $2,000
FROM THE P LYMOUTH R OTARY, $1,000 FROM THE P LYMOUTH L IONS,
AND $2,200 FROM B AUER D ESIGN B UILD
WHEREAS, the Police Department wishes to organize a “Presents with Public Safety” activity
with underprivileged children; and
WHEREAS, this positive activity will build additional positive community interactions with the
department; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department has been awarded $2,000 from the Plymouth Rotary, $1,000
from the Plymouth Lions, and $2,200 from Bauer Design Build for this purpose; and
WHEREAS, funds will be used for purchasing gift certificates for children whose families are
going through financial hardships. They will shop with an officer or firefighter for holiday gifts at a
Plymouth retail store.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the donation of $2,000 from the Plymouth Rotary, the donation of $1,000 from the
Plymouth Lions, and the donation of $2,200 from Bauer Design Build is hereby accepted.
Approved by the City Council this 15th day of November, 2022.
