R ESOLUTION N O. 2022-272
R ESOLUTION D ECLARING V ACANCY FOR W ARD 2 C OUNCIL S EAT
WHEREAS, Kelli Slavik was appointed by the City Council to fill previous Councilmember Nick
Roehl’s Ward 2 Council position for a term to expire December 31, 2022; and
WHEREAS, Kelli Slavik has submitted her resignation from her Ward 2 council seat effective
November 15, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the Plymouth City Charter provides that when a vacancy occurs, the City Council shall
declare the vacancy to exist at its next regular meeting; and
WHEREAS, the Plymouth City Charter provides that the City Council shall appoint an eligible
person to fill the vacancy until the next regular municipal election when the office is filled for the
unexpired term.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that a vacancy exists in the Ward 2 City Council seat effective November 15, 2022.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 15th day of November, 2022.
