R ESOLUTION N O. 2022-261
R ESOLUTION A WARDING C ONTRACT FOR THE
B ASS L AKE E STATES 2 ND A DDITION S TREAM R ESTORATION P ROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Bass Lake Estates 2nd Addition Stream
Restoration Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to State law, and the following
bids were received complying with the advertisement:

Sunram Construction, Inc. $192,349.00
Haho Companies, LLC $233,652.90
Meyer Contracting, Inc. $286,172.79
New Look Contracting, Inc. $336,335.00
Engineer’s Estimate $208,092.50
WHEREAS, Best Outdoor Services / BOS Concrete LLC. from Andover, Minnesota is the lowest
responsible bidder complying with the minimum qualifications; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommends awarding the project to Best Outdoor Services / BOS
Concrete LLC.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that:
1) The Mayor and City Manager are authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Best
Outdoor Services / BOS Concrete LLC. in the name of the City of Plymouth for the Bass Lake
Estates 2nd Addition Stream Restoration Project according to the plans and specifications on file
in the office of the City Engineer in the amount $133,640.00.
2) The total cost of the project is $229,140.00 and includes the improvements in the amount of
$133,640.00 and design, administration, and contingency in the amount of $95,500.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the project would be funded in the amount of $229,140.00 from
the Water Resources Fund and reimbursed by the Shingle Creek Watershed Management Commission
Capital Improvement Funds, the State of Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources Clean Water Fund
and the City of Maple Grove.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 25th day of October, 2022.
