R ESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE C ITY M ANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL
CONTRACTS RELATED TO A M INNESOTA D EPARTMENT OF E MPLOYMENT
AND E CONOMIC D EVELOPMENT (DEED) R EDEVELOPMENT G RANT
WHEREAS, on August 1, 2022, as requested by Wellington Management and authorized under
Resolution No. 2022-195, the City of Plymouth submitted a Redevelopment Grant Application to the
Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) for redevelopment and
environmental cleanup of the former Four Seasons Mall (project site) located at 4200 Lancaster Lane; and
WHEREAS, on September 22, 2022, DEED notified the City of Plymouth that it has awarded the
City with a redevelopment grant in the amount of $775,000 for the project site; and
WHEREAS, DEED requires a resolution authorizing a specific city official to execute all contracts
related to the grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the City Manager is authorized to execute all contracts related to the DEED grant on
behalf of the City of Plymouth, as necessary to implement the redevelopment of the project site.
