R ESOLUTION N O. 2022-242
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING F INAL C LOSEOUT FOR THE
2022 S ANITARY S EWER L INING P ROJECT (SS229001)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as the owner, and Insituform Technologies USA, LLC. as the
contractor, have entered into an agreement for the 2022 Sanitary Sewer Lining Project. Said agreement
was approved by the City Council on May 24, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the
request for final payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount between the owner and the contractor was $254,983.20
and the final contract amount is $215,819.29.
2. That the work performed by the contractor for the 2022 Sanitary Sewer Lining Project and
certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable, being the same, is released from the
contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the
owner, required guarantees, and correction of faulty work after final payment.
3. The total project cost is $226,610.25 which included the improvements ($215,819.29) and
engineering and administration ($10,790.96).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
1. That the funding for this project would be from the Sewer Fund ($226,610.25).
APPROVED by the City Council on this 25th day of October, 2022.
