R ESOLUTION N O. 2022-149
R ESOLUTION A WARDING C ONTRACT FOR THE
2022 S ANITARY S EWER L INING P ROJECT (SS229001)
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2022 Sanitary Sewer Lining Project, one
bid was received, opened and tabulated according to State law, and the following bid was received
complying with the advertisement:
Contractor Total Base Bid
$254,983.20
Insituform Technologies
Engineers Estimate $382,505.00
WHEREAS, it appears that Insituform Technologies USA, LLC, from Chesterfield, MO is the lowest
responsible bidder, complying with the minimum qualifications; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommends awarding the project to Insituform Technologies USA,
LLC.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. That the Mayor and City Manager are authorized and directed to execute contract with
Insituform Technologies USA, LLC for the 2022 Sanitary Sewer Lining Project according to
the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office
of the City Engineer in the amount of $254,983.20.
2. The project shall include 5% for design and administration in the amount of $12,749.16, and
3% for contingency in the amount of $7,649.50 for a total project cost of $275,381.86.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the funding for this project shall be from the Sewer Fund in the
amount of $275,381.86.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 24th day of May 2022.
