R ESOLUTION N O. 2022-230
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING P URCHASE A GREEMENT FOR L AND A CQUISITION
LOCATED AT 11018 O LD C OUNTY R OAD 15
WHEREAS, Bruce and Marilyn Thompson, owners of land identified by Property ID
3611822320001, have offered the City of Plymouth to purchase said land consisting of 0.39 acres in an
amount of $355,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the property is described as:
11018 Old County Road 15; and
WHEREAS, the legal purchase agreement and official legal parcel description has been prepared
by the City Attorney; and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to purchase this vacant land to preserve the future roadway
realignment of County Road 73; and
WHEREAS, the necessary funding is available as a part of the Street Reconstruction Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the purchase agreement in the amount of $355,000.00 plus associated legal and
closing costs in order to successfully acquire said property is approved and the Council authorizes the
Mayor and City Manager to enter into a purchase agreement for 11018 Old County Road 15.
