HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2022-185 C ITY OF P LYMOUTH R ESOLUTION N O. 2022-185 R ESOLUTION A PPROVING F INAL C LOSEOUT FOR THE M ISSION F ARMS L IFT S TATION R EHABILITATION P ROJECT (ST200001) WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as the owner, and Minger Construction Co. as the contractor, have entered into an agreement for the Mission Farms Lift Station Project. Said agreement was approved by the City Council on August 10, 2021; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the request for final payment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. That the original contract amount between the owner and the contractor was $450,950.00 and the final contract amount is $402,133.60, or 10.8% under the original contract amount. 2. That the work performed by the contractor for the Mission Farms Lift Station Rehabilitation Project and certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable, being the same, is released from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees, and correction of faulty work after final payment. 3. The total project cost is $461,045.42 which included the improvements ($402,133.60) and engineering and administration ($58,911.82). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: 1. The original funding for this project was from the Sewer Fund ($532,000.00). 2. That the funding for this project would be from the Sewer Fund ($461,045.42). APPROVED by the City Council on this 26th day of July, 2022.
