R ESOLUTION T ERMINATING L EASE A GREEMENT WITH P LYMOUTH P RESBYTERIAN C HURCH AND
E NTERING I NTO L EASE A GREEMENT WITH I NVEST P LYMOUTH I FOR THE D UNKIRK P ARK AND R IDE L OT
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth operates Plymouth Metrolink transit service which includes
leasing park and ride lots within Plymouth; and
WHEREAS, the City has entered into a lease agreement with the Plymouth Presbyterian Church,
located at 3755 Dunkirk Lane, for a park and ride lot; and
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Presbyterian Church is a part of the larger Parkera Redevelopment final
plat which was approved by the Plymouth City Council; and
WHEREAS, Invest Plymouth I, LLC wants to continue the use of the site for a park and ride lot,
but needs to change the location of the parking lot due to construction; and
WHEREAS, Plymouth Metrolink wants to continue to lease land from the property owner for a
park and ride lot at this site.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the existing lease agreement with Plymouth Presbyterian Church is terminated.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the lease agreement with Invest Plymouth I, LLC for the Dunkirk Park
and Ride lot is approved and the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute the amendment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that funding will be from the Transit Fund.
