Special Council Meeting
June 10, 2008
Mayor Slavik called a Special Meeting of the Plymouth City Council to order at 6:00 p.m. in the
Medicine Lake Conference Room of City Hall, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, on June 10, 2008.
COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Slavik, Councilmembers Hewitt, Stein, Black, Murdock, Willis,
and Bildsoe (arrived at 5:53 p.m.).
ABSENT: None.
HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY COMMISSIONERS: Chair Ludovissie
and Commissioner Kulaszewiez.
ABSENT: Commissioners Hatcher and Caryotakis.
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Ahrens, Community Development Director Juetten, Housing
Manager Barnes, Support Services Manager Whalen, Administrative Services Director Cote, and
City Clerk Engdahl.
The Council and the Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) conducted a joint meeting to
discuss the proposed strategic plan for the HRA. This plan is the guiding doemnent that the
HRA utilizes to provide housing and redevelopment opportunities and programs for the
community. The Council provided comments to the HRA relating to land banking, tax
abatement, additional housing incentives, affordable housing, transit needs for multi family
housing developments, redevelopment of existing housing in the community, and the Section 8
program.

Mayor Slavik adjourned the meeting at 6:55 p.m.
