Special Council Meeting
January 15, 2008
Mayor Slavik called a Special Meeting of the Plymouth City Council to order at 6:30
p.m. in the Medicine Lake Room of City Hall, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, on January 15,
2008.
COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Slavik, Councilmembers Murdock, Stein, Hewitt,
Bildsoe, and Willis.
ABSENT: Councilmember Black.
STAFF PRESENT: City Clerk Engdahl.
The Council conducted board and commission interviews and discussed 2008
appointments to the boards and commissions as well as the Council Coordinating
representatives. Staff was directed to prepare Resolutions for these reappointments and
appointments for the January 22 Council meeting.
A discussion was also held on the suggestion that the Council and staff draft work plans
for the boards and commissions. Staff was directed to add this item to the January 29
Special Council Meeting agenda. In addition, staff would assist the Council with this
process by providing previous work plans, ordinances, policies, purpose and philosophies
of the various boards and commissions.
The meeting was adjourned at approximately 8: 5 p.m.
