HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2022-096 CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2022-096 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT TO REGUIDE ROUGHLY 7.4-ACRES FROM C-O TO MXD AND TEXT AMENDMENT TO INCREASE THE DENSITY MAXIMUMS IN THE MXD GUIDING FOR “BASSETT CREEK APARTMENTS” (2021081) WHEREAS, Doran RE Partners, LLC has requested a comprehensive plan amendment to reguide roughly 7.4-acres of land located at 10000 Highway 55 from C-O (business commercial) to MXD (mixed use); and WHEREAS, the land affected by the reguiding is presently legally described as follows: Lot 1, Block 1, Groves Office Park, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota. (Abstract and Torrens property, Certificate of Title No. 1330612). The registered portion of the land is described as follows: That part of Lot 1, Block 1, Groves Office Park, embraced within the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 36, Township 118, Range 22; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public hearing and recommends approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve an amendment to the comprehensive plan to reguide roughly 7.4-acres of land located at 10,000 Highway 55 from C-O (business commercial) to MXD (mixed use). FURTHER, to incorporate the changes, the city will modify Figure 3-2, 2040 Land Use Plan in Chapter 3 of the Plymouth Comprehensive Plan; and FURTHER, to incorporate the changes, the city will modify the MXD residential density ranges to be 12 to 35 units per acre, 2040 Land Use Plan in Chapter 3 of the Plymouth Comprehensive Plan; and FURTHER, approval of the comprehensive plan amendment is contingent upon, and subject to, the required review and response by the Metropolitan Council.
