CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION NO. 2022-088
RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE CONSULTING ENGINEER FOR THE
2023 VICKSBURG LANE LANDSCAPING IMPROVEMENTS (ST230006)
WHEREAS, the 2022 Vicksburg Lane Improvements is listed in the 2021-2030 Capital
Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, to improve contract efficiency with the 2022 Vicksburg Lane Improvements, project
elements such as landscaping, a monument sign, interpretive signage, and lighting are being bid as a
separate project following roadway construction; and
WHEREAS, the 2023 Vicksburg Lane Landscaping Improvements will include those associated
item and be bid the year following the roadway work; and
WHEREAS, a request for proposal was sent to an engineering firm that has expertise to deliver
the project; and
WHEREAS, a proposal was received and evaluated by city staff; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends that Bolton & Menk, Inc. be designated as the consulting engineer
for this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that Bolton & Menk, Inc. is designated as the City’s consulting engineer for the 2023
Vicksburg Lane Landscaping Improvements (ST230006) in the amount of $90,780.00.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 22nd day of March, 2022.
