R ESOLUTION N O. 2022-066
R ESOLUTION D ECLARING A DEQUACY OF P ETITION AND
O RDERING P RELIMINARY E NGINEERING R EPORT FOR THE
15 TH A VENUE I MPROVEMENT P ROJECT (ST220003)
WHEREAS, a petition was received requesting the public water main be extended along
15th Avenue; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to undertake a Preliminary Engineering Report to determine
the work required on each street recommended to be considered for the 15th Avenue
Improvement Project (ST220003); and
WHEREAS, 15th Avenue north of South Shore Drive is the recommended project area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the extension of public water main along 15th Avenue,
located north of South Shore Drive, filed with the Council on March 8, 2022, is hereby declared
to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected hereby. This declaration
is made in conformity to Minnesota Statute § 429.035.
2. The City Engineer is instructed to prepare a Preliminary Engineering Report with all
convenient speed by advising the Council, in a preliminary way, as to whether the proposed
improvements are feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in
conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvements as
recommended.
