HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2022-065 C ITY OF P LYMOUTH R ESOLUTION N O. 2022-065 R ESOLUTION C ALLING FOR HEARING ON P ROPOSED A SSESSMENT FOR THE P INEVIEW L ANE AND P LUM T REE E AST R EHABILITATION P ROJECT (ST229002) WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on March 8, 2022, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost for the improvements to the project area including Pineview Lane between 53rd Avenue and County Road 61 (Northwest Boulevard); and the Plum Tree East neighborhood east of Peony Lane, north of Old Rockford Road, west of Holly Lane, and south of the Canadian Pacific Railroad, including 45th Avenue, 46th Avenue, 48th Avenue, Jewel Lane, Jewel Court, Inland Court, Kimberly Court, Merrimac Lane, Merrimac Court, Narcissus Lane and Narcissus Court, by mill and overlay of streets, full depth reclamation of streets, preventative maintenance of utilities, trail replacement, trail construction, and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 26th day of April, 2022, in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:00 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearing. APPROVED by the City Council on this 8th day of March, 2022.
