RESOLUTION REINSTATING A CNIL PENALTY
AGAINST TGI FRIDAYS OF MN, INC. d/b/a
IT ALIANNI' S
FOR LIQUOR COMPLIANCE CHECK VIOLATION
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Police Department routine conducts compliance checks on
licensed liquor establishments within the City; and
WHEREAS, during these checks conducted in 1998, violations occurred where individuals
employed by Italianni' s at 220 Carlson Parkway sold alcoholic beverages to underage persons;
and
WHEREAS, based on those violations the City Council held administrative hearings at
their April 61h and May 18t\ 1999 meetings and adopted Resolutions 99-175 and 99-245 imposing
a civil penalty of an administrative fines and license suspensions of 10-days with 8-days stayed;
and 15-days with 5-days stayed which would be reinstated ifthere was an illegal sale in the next
twelve months; and
WHEREAS, during a subsequent compliance check on December 22, 1999 and illegal
sale was again made at Italianni' s, 220 Carlson Parkway.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, the City Council adopt the resolution reinstating the imposition a civil
penalty against TGI Fridays of Minnesota, Inc. d/b/a Italianni's for a license suspension of 13
days to be served at the discretion of the City.
Adopted by the City Council on January 4, 2000.
