Concurrent Meeting with City of Medicine Lake
February 8, 2022
Mayor Wosje called a Special Meeting of the Plymouth City Council to order at 5:00 p.m. in the Council
Chambers of Plymouth City Hall, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, on February 8, 2022.
PLYMOUTH COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Wosje, Councilmembers Willis, Carroll, Prom, Roehl, and Davis.
PLYMOUTH COUNCIL ABSENT: Councilmember McGregor.
PLYMOUTH STAFF PRESENT: Deputy City Manager Solano, Public Works Director Thompson, Deputy
Public Works Director/City Engineer LaBounty, Community and Economic Development Director Parr,
Deputy Parks and Recreation Director Northway, Public Safety Director Fadden, Fire Chief Coppa, and
City Clerk/Administrative Coordinator Gallup.
MEDICINE LAKE COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Marks, Councilmembers Shaffer, Meyers, Tomczik, and Heim.
MEDICINE LAKE COUNCIL ABSENT: None.
MEDICINE LAKE STAFF PRESENT: City Clerk Polum, Treasurer Englert, Public Works Superintendent Klar,
and SEH Engineer Consultant Hutton.
Joint Workshop with Medicine Lake Council Regarding Watermain Extension
The Council heard a presentation from the City of Medicine Lake on their proposal for a joint powers
agreement to have Plymouth provide potable water service to Medicine Lake. Discussion took place
regarding the framework of the agreement, the payment terms for the trunk watermain fee, and who
should own the watermain.
Discuss Names for County Road 47
The Council discussed potential names for County Road 47 and directed staff to solicit road name ideas
from residents for Council’s future consideration.

No additional study sessions were added at this time.

Mayor Wosje adjourned the meeting at 6:46 p.m.
