R ESOLUTION A DOPTING T AX L EVIES
FOR T AXES P AYABLE 2022
WHEREAS, the City Council has given preliminary approval to the proposed operating
budgets for calendar year 2022. The proposed budgets require monies to be raised from
property taxes on taxable property in the City of Plymouth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the amounts listed above be raised by property tax on taxable
property in the City of Plymouth for taxes payable in 2022 as set out in the proposed 2022
budget.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it is hereby determined that the City is making an
irrevocable appropriation of funds, and sufficient funds are now on hand for the payment of
principal and interest to come due during the year 2022 for certain bond issues outstanding
of the City. Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 475.61, the County Auditor of Hennepin
County is hereby authorized and directed to cancel the levies for said indebtedness
heretofore made to be levied in the year 2021 for collection in the year 2022 as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the said preliminary property tax levy be certified to
the County Auditor of Hennepin County on or before December 28, 2021.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 14th day of December, 2021.
