R ESOLUTION N O. 2021-348
R ESOLUTION A CCEPTING P ROPOSAL AND E NTERING INTO S UBSCRIPTION AND S ERVICES
A GREEMENT WITH R IDE C O US, I NC. FOR M ETRO L INK O N-D EMAND S ERVICE
WHEREAS, RideCo US, Inc. (RideCo) has prepared an On-Demand Software and Solutions
proposal for the City of Plymouth; and
WHEREAS, RideCo as developer/owner/operator would develop the software for MetroLink
Click-and-Ride service, mange the smart technology application, and provide maintenance and support
services; and
WHEREAS, RideCo software and solutions will be utilized in the existing MetroLink bus fleet; and
WHEREAS, RideCo software and solutions will be able to be utilized in the existing Dial-a-Ride
service area which includes the City of Plymouth and select locations outside the city, such as Ridgedale
Center in Minnetonka, Colonial Square in Wayzata, and Golden Valley Center; and
WHEREAS, the terms of the agreement would be for one year, beginning November 30, 2021
with an option for two additional one year extensions; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has reviewed the agreement with RideCo which covers the terms
outlined in RideCo’s proposal.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to enter into the agreement with RideCo
for Subscription and Services for MetroLink On-Demand Service.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 14th of December, 2021.
