Special Council Meeting
November 15, 2011
Mayor Slavik called a Special Meeting of the Plymouth City Council to order at 6:00 p.m. in the
Medicine Lake Room, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, on November 15, 2011.
COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Slavik, Councilmembers Bildsoe, Black, Willis, Stein, and
Johnson.
ABSENT: None.
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Ahrens and City Clerk Engdahl.
Board and Commission Interviews
The Council interviewed residents for positions on the City's boards and commissions. They
also discussed the Council Coordinating Representatives and Deputy Mayor for 2012. Based
upon their discussion, the Council directed staff to prepare resolutions for these 2012
appointments for the December 13 Council agenda.
Future Study Sessions
The Council set the following study sessions:
December 13 at 6:00 p.m. — City Manager evaluation
January 10 at 5:30 p.m. — Receive an update from the City's prosecutor and discuss Police
Department's trends and statistics
January 17 at 6:00 p.m. — Discuss Council goals and legislative priorities for 2012
January 24 at 5:30 p.m. — Discuss private utilities for Silverthorne
February 2 at 6:00 p.m. — Board and commission recognition event
February 21 at 6:00 p.m. — Discuss Fire Study
Adiournment
Mayor Slavik adjourned the meeting at 8:08 p.m.
