R ESOLUTION N O. 2021-234
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING THE C HANGE O RDER AND F INAL P AYMENT FOR
C REEKSIDE H ILLS T RAIL (PR209001)
WHEREAS, on July 28, 2020, the City Council authorized the advertisement of bids for
construction the Creekside Hills Trail; and
WHEREAS, the City and ISD 284 partnered in this project due to its key community connections;
and
WHEREAS, on January 12, 2021, City Council awarded the Creekside Hills Trail project to Rosti
Construction with a bid of $213,397.50; and
WHEREAS, one change order was initiated on the project for $6,640.50 and incorporated
replacement of a pedestrian ramp, striping, relocating signs, curb stop adjustments, and installing rock;
and
WHEREAS, staff and consultant are recommending approval of the change order and final
payment; and
WHEREAS, the project was scheduled in the 2020 Capital Improvement Program for $334,000,
utilizing Park Dedication Funds and a contribution of $40,000 from ISD 284; and
WHEREAS, the final overall project cost is $306,571.83 (City’s cost is $266,571.83 and ISD 284’s
is 284 $40,000), which is $27,428.17 under budget; and
WHEREAS, the final payment to Rosti Construction is $4,248.29, with the cumulative payments,
including one change order, totaling $219,054.83 for the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the City Council hereby approves the change order and final payment to Rosti
Construction for the Creekside Hills Trail (PR209001).
