HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2021-220 C ITY OF P LYMOUTH R ESOLUTION N O. 2021-220 R ESOLUTION TO A WARD THE C ONTRACT FOR THE M ISSION F ARMS L IFT S TATION R EHABILITATION P ROJECT (SS200001) WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Mission Farms Lift Station Rehabilitation Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to State law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Contractor Total Base Bid $450,950.00 Minger Construction Co. Inc. Pember Companies, Inc. $454,000.00 WHEREAS, it appears that Minger Construction Co. Inc out of Jordan, MN is the lowest responsible bidder, complying with the minimum qualifications; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommends awarding the project to Minger Construction Co. Inc out of Jordan, MN. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Mayor and City Manager are Authorized and directed to enter into the contract with Minger Construction Co. Inc out of Jordan, MN. 2. In the name of the City of Plymouth for the Mission Farms Lift Station Rehabilitation Project according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of $450,950.00 3. In addition to the Lift Station Rehabilitation in the amount of $450,950.00 the project shall include 13% for design and administration and 5% contingency for a total project cost of $532,000.00. 4. The funding for this project shall be from the Sewer Fund in the amount of $532,000.00. APPROVED by the City Council on this 10th day of August, 2021.
