HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2021-171 C ITY OF P LYMOUTH R ESOLUTION N O. 2021-171 R ESOLUTION D ENYING PUD A MENDMENT FOR P LYMOUTH S TATION PUD FOR P ROPERTY L OCATED AT 16825 C OUNTY R OAD 24 (2021026) WHEREAS, Jerry’s Service Inc. DBA Plymouth Station Holiday has requested approval of a PUD (planned unit development) amendment to allow outdoor display of seasonal/convenience items near the front door of the business and within the gas pump islands of Plymouth Station Holiday Stationstore, 16825 County Road 24; and WHEREAS, the subject property is legally described as Lot 2, Block 1, Plymouth Station, Hennepin County, Minnesota; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public hearing. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does deny the request by Jerry’s Service Inc. DBA Plymouth Station Holiday for a PUD amendment to allow outdoor display at 16825 County Road 25, based on the following findings: 1. The requested PUD amendment would be not be consistent with the objectives of the City’s comprehensive plan. 2. The requested PUD amendment would negatively impact the purposes or intent of the PUD.
