C ITY OF P LYMOUTH
R ESOLUTION N O. 2021-139
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING P URCHASE OF A ERIAL 100 P LATFORM F IRE T RUCK
WHEREAS, the 2021-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and 2021 budget include the
purchase of one aerial platform ladder; and
WHEREAS, the City may make purchases off of cooperative purchasing contract; and
WHEREAS, HGAC, has a contract for aerial ladder and related accessories, Product Code
#FS19YA06; and
WHEREAS, the City may make purchases off of state contracts; and
WHEREAS, Rosenbauer Minnesota, LLC, has a contract with the State for aerial ladder and
related accessories meeting the City’s specifications, State Contract No. #FS12-19; and
WHEREAS, the disposal of the existing assets; aerial platform ladder, shall be through auction in
2022 with a reserve of $225,000; and
WHEREAS, the reserve is not met disposal of the existing assets; aerial platform ladder, shall be
through a broker, Fire Line Services.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the purchase of one P7913-02 model platform ladder truck and related platform and
fire services attachments from Rosenbauer Minnesota, LLC is approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the amount due to Rosenbauer Minnesota, LLC for one aerial
platform ladder truck complete with chassis and platform attachments (no sales tax is due) is
$1,217,526.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funding would come from Central Equipment Fund 600-70-760-
76001-8100.500 in the amount of $1,217,526.
