HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2021-119 C ITY OF P LYMOUTH R ESOLUTION N O. 2021-119 R ESOLUTION A PPROVING A MENDED C ONDITIONAL U SE P ERMIT AND S ITE P LAN FOR P ROPERTY LOCATED AT 2000 AND 2050 M ERRIMAC L ANE (2021015) WHEREAS, F & A Partners, LLC has requested approval of an amended conditional use permit and site plan to allow expansion of the existing Great Start Montessori School daycare center; and WHEREAS, the property is legally described as Lot 1, Block 1, Munla Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public hearing and recommends approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and does approve the request by F & A Partners, LLC for an amended conditional use permit and site plan to allow expansion of the existing daycare center for property located at 2000 and 2050 Merrimac Lane, subject to the following conditions: 1. The requested amendment to the conditional use permit and site plan is approved to allow a licensed capacity of 110 for the daycare and a roughly 277 square foot addition to connect the two buildings on the site, in accordance with the application and plans received by the City on March 8, 22, and 26, 2021, except as may be amended by this resolution. 2. A separate building permit is required prior to the commencement of the project. 3. Prior to issuance of the building permit, the applicant shall obtain any required permits from the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District. 4. The requested conditional use permit amendment is approved with the findings that all applicable conditional use permit standards would be met, as outlined in the zoning ordinance. 5. Standard Conditions: a. Any subsequent phases or expansions are subject to required reviews and approvals per ordinance provisions. b. The amended conditional use permit and site plan shall expire one year after the date of approval, unless the property owner or applicant has started the project, or unless the applicant, with the consent of the property owner, has received prior approval from the city to extend the expiration date for up to one additional year, as regulated under Sections 21015.07 and 21045.09 of the Zoning Ordinance.
