R ESOLUTION N O. 2021-107
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING P AYMENT N O. 4 AND F INAL FOR THE
2020 S ANITARY S EWER L INING P ROJECT (SS209001)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as the owner and Hydro-Klean, LLC as the Contractor, have
entered into an agreement for the 2020 Sanitary Sewer Lining Project, City Project No. SS209001, said
project was approved by the City Council on March 10, 2020; and
WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the final
request for payment.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $744,004.50 and that the value of the work to date is
$740,566.10 and is approved. The final contract amount is $3,438.40 below the original
contract amount.
2. That the work performed by the contractor for the 2020 Sanitary Sewer Lining Project and
certified to the City Council by the engineer as acceptable, being the same, is released from
the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of
the owner, required guarantees, and correction of the faulty work after final payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 4 and Final in the amount of $76,917.00 to Hydro-Klean, LLC for
the 2020 Sanitary Sewer Lining Project is approved and the Finance Manager is authorized
and directed to pay the same forthwith.
4. Project costs shall include the sanitary sewer lining in the amount of $740,566.10, pre-lining
repairs at $20,803.50 and 5% for engineering and administration in the amount of
$38,068.48
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funding for this project shall be from the Sewer Fund in the
amount of $799,438.08
APPROVED by the City Council on this 13th day of April, 2021.
