Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
15th day of December , 1980 The follow -ling members

Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its a opt on:
RESOLUTION NO. 80- 928
APPROVING 1981-1983 LABOR CONTRACT
WITH INTERNATIONAL UNION OF OPERATING ENGI"LEERS,
LOCAL 49
WHEREAS, representatives of the City and International Union of Operating Engineers,
Local 49, representing Public Works and Park Maintenance employees, have met to
negotiate a labor contract; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager submitted to this City Council the proposed labor contract
which has been negotiated between the City and the Union and has recommended its
approval by the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the labor contract negotiated between the City of Plymouth and
International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 49, for the period of January 1,
1981 through December 31, 1983, be and the same is hereby approved.
FURTHER that the Mayor and City Manager be authorized to execute the labor agreement
on behalf of the City of Plymouth.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
