Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
75th day of December , 19_812_. The following members

Couns�j�er ils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-927
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HENNEPIN COUNTY PARK RESERVE DISTRICT TO
INITIATE CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS ON THE JEROME P. AND BETTY
BEGIN PROPERTY FOR THE MEDICINE LAKE REGIONAL PARK
PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES 398.09
WHEREAS, Hennepin County Park Reserve District has requested consent by the
Council of the City of Plymouth to initiate condemnation proceedings with
respect to the acquisition of certain land pursuant to Minnesota Statutes
398.09; and
WHEREAS, the owners of such property have indicated through their legal counsel
their desire that such proceedings be initiated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL nF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the Hennepin County Park Reserve District be and the same is
hereby authorized to proceed with the acquisition of the following described
parcel owned by Jerome P. and Betty Begin for the Medicine Lake Regional Park
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 398.09:
That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of
Section 14, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota,
lying southerly of the centerline of Hennepin County State Aid
Highway No. 9. Except the north 420.14 feet of the east 302.00
feet of said Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter
And
Beginning at the Southeast Corner of the Northeast Quarter of
Section 15, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota;
thence north along the east line thereof distant 134.12 feet;
thence deflecting left 90 degrees, 55 minutes, 20 seconds distant
110.6 feet; thence south parallel with said east line to the survey
line of Hennepin County State Aid Highway No. 9; thence southeasterly
along said survey line to its intersection with said east line; thence
north along said east line to point of beginnning.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: M vor Davenport. Councilmembers Hoyt,
Neils, Schneider. and Threinen
