Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
1st day of December , 19 80 The following members
were present:Mayor Davenport, Counci mem ers Hoyt, Neils, and Schneider
The following members were absent: None. —
Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-884
RESOLUTION APPOINTING JAMES THREINEN TO FILL THE VACANCY
OF COUNCILMEMBER ON THE CITY COUNCIL CREATED BY THE
RESIGNATION OF DAVID DAVENPORT
WHEREAS, David Davenport has resigned his position as Councilmember effective
7:45 p.m., December 1, 1980; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted Resolution No. 80-883 , declaring the
seat of David Davenport to be vacant effective 7:45 p.m., December 1, 1980;
and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to make an appointment to fill
the unexpired term of David Davenport; and
WHEREAS, the Council has agreed upon a person to fill such seat for such un-
expired term;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. Effective 7:45 p.m., December 1, 1980, James Threinen is hereby
appointed to fill the unexpired term of David Davenport on the City
Council which term expires on December 31, 1983.
2. The City Clerk is directed to take all the necessary to effectuate
this appointment and to notify all persons entitled to such notice.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
