Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
lst day of December , 1980 . The following members
were present: _Mayor Davenport, Counci mem ers Hoyt; Neils, and Schneider
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80- 883
RESOLUTION DECLARING COUNCIL SEAT OF
COUNCILMEMBER DAVID DAVENPORT TO BE VACANT
WHEREAS, David Davenport has submitted his resignation to the Council, which
resignation is effective 7:45 p.m., December 1, 1980; and
WHEREAS, the term to which David Davenport was elected on the City Council
expires December 31, 1983; and
WHEREAS, by virtue of such resignation it is necessary for the position of
Councilmember to be filled by appointment of the Council for the remainder of
such unexpired term;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Plymouth, Minnesota, that the Council seat of David Davenport is hereby declared
to be vacant effective 7:45 p.m., December 1, 1980.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Councilmembers-Hoyt Neils and SchnPidpr
