Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meetina of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 1st day of
December, 1980 . The following members were present: Mayor avenport,
Ceuncilmembers Hoyt, Neils and Schneider

Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80- 878
APPROVING PROJECT MONUMENT SIGN FOR "HERITAGE ESTATES" AT 34TH AVENUE NORTH AND
WEST MEDICINE LAKE DRIVE (A-824)
WHEREAS, Nordquist Sign Company on behalf of the developer has requested approval
of an approximate 28 square foot nameplate entrance monument -sign for Heritage
Estates; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the requested and has recommended
approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request of Nordquist Sign
Company on behalf of the developer of "Heritage Estates" for project monument
signage subject to the following conditions:
1. One sign to be located at the south entrance (34th Avenue North) in accoreance
with the minimum 20 foot ordinance setback requirement from the front property
line.
2. No illumination of the sigr. permitted.
3. Construction materials to be of durable wood elements with earth tone -.olors.
4. That there be a deed covenant fcr sign maintenance over the entire subdivision.
as approved by the City Attorney; to be filed prior to sign permit.
5. That there be an easement for this sign on Lot 18, Block 2, Heritage Estates,
and evidence of filing shall be submitted prior to issuance of a permit.
6. Sign and adjacent area shall be maintained in a tidy manner.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: flavor Davenport Councilmembers Hoyt_NPiit
and Schneider

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
