HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-864CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 17th day of November , 1980 , The follow;ng members were present:Mayor Hunt. Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt. Neils and Schneider The following members were absent: None eta or Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80-864 RESOLUTION APPOINTING PLYMOUTH DIRECTORS TO THE NORTHWEST SUBURBS CABLE COMMUNICATION COMMISSION WHEREAS, the City Council did on November 17, 1980 adopt a joint and cooperative agreement dated (1980) for participation in the Northwest Suburbs Cable Communication Commission; and WHEREAS, said joint and cooperative agreement provides that the City Council of each participating city shall from time to time appoint two directors to the Commission; and WHEREAS, the agreement further specifies that one director shall be a City Council - member and the other a qualified voter within the City represented; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, that it should and hereby does appoint Councilmember 5qhpeiger and James G. Willis to act as Directors to the Northwest Suburbs Caableomm tion Commission for a term to continue through June 1, 1982. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by ounci memb r Ho , and upon vote being taken thereon, the 0 owing voted in favor thereof.
