HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-859CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was heron the 17th day of NoYember , 19 80. The following members were present: mayor Hunt, Counci?members Hoyt, Neils and Schneider The following members were absent: Councilmember Davenport Coyncilmpmber Neils_ introduced the following Resolution and moved itsadoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80-859 REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 2 AND FINAL PROJECT NO. 933 - CO. RD. 18/17th AVE. WATEP.MAIN WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as Owner and Q.R.S. Construction Co., Inc. as Contractor have entered into an agreement for the improvement of Co. Rd. 18 from 13th Ave. to 18th Ave. and 17th Ave. from Co. Rd. 18 to E. Medicine Lake Drive by by the construction of a watermain, said Agreement being dated April 22, 1980; and WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the Final Request for Payment; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. That the original contract amount was $73,384.68 and no Change Orders were approved, and the value of the work completed and certified to date is $73,901.42. 2. That the work performed by the Contractor for Project No. 933 and certified Lo the Co ncil by the Engineer as acceptable be and the same is hereby released from the contract except as to the conditions of the Performance Bond, any and all legal rights of the Owner, required guarantees and Correction of Faulty Work after Final Payment. 3. Request for Payment No. 2 and Final in the amount of $8,831.04 to Q.R.S. Construction Co., Inc. for Project No. 933 is hereby approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by �r, and upon vote being taken thereon, the o wing94voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils fiefohider llddowingvoted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
