HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-829CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a reaul 4r meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 17th day of November _, 19 80. The following members were present:Mayor unt- ounci mem ers Daven ort, -Hot Neils and Schneider The following members were absent: none CoWncilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved is adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80-829 APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR HALLEY LAND CORPORATION SOUTH OF COUNTY ROAD 9 AND EAST OF LOST LAKE (80056) WHEREAS, Halley Land Corporation has requested approval of a preliminary plat for 10 single family residential lots on an approximate 9.3 acre site located south o County Road 9 and east of Lost Lake; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the request following a duly called public hearing and has recommended approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve a preliminary plat for 10 single family residential lots on approximately 9.3 acres located south of County Road 9 and east of Lost Lake subject to the following conditions: 1. Compliance with the City Engineer's Memorandum. 2. Compliance with City Council Policy Resolution No. 79-80 regarding minimum floor elevations for new structures in subdivisions or on sites adJecent to or containing open storm water drainage facilities. 3. Street names and numbers to comply with the City's street naming system. 4. Payment of park dedication fees in lieu of dedication determined according to City Council policy in effect at the time of final platting. 5. No building permits to be issued until municipal sewer and water are physically available to the site. 7. No building setback variances are granted or implied; front yard width variance for Lot 3 is approved at the cul-de-sac end. 8. Removal of all dead or dying trees from the property at the owner's expense. Resolution 180-829 Page 2 9. Written verification prior to final platting that all lots meet or exceed the ordinance minimum requirements as to dimensions and area. 10. Verification by the City Attorney prior to final platting as to the status of the title. 11. The design of the plat shall provide an outlet and control structure for the outfall of Lost Lake.
