Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meetino of
. the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held the
27th day of October , 19 80. The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt Councilmembers Davenport, Neils and Schneider
The following members were absent: Counci mem er Hoyt
Moor Hunt introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-799
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT - PROJECT 606
PARKERS LAKE OUTLET
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution of the Council adopted November 19, 1979, a
report has been prepared by Eugene A. Hickok and Associates, Inc. with respect
to the improvement of the following:
1. Parkers Lake (PL-Pl)
2. Pond BC -P19 lying north and south of the Minnesota Western Railroad
right-of-way between Harbor Lane and Fernbrook Lane
3. Pond 3C -P20 lying on the west side of Interstate Highway No. 494
south of County Road 6
4. Pond BC -P21 lying on the east side of Interstate Highway No. 494
south of County Road 6
AND, WHEREAS, the proposed project includes installation of storm sewer, ponding
areas, pumping station and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, said report was received by the Council on January 21, 1980;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such storm drainage improve-
ment in accordance with the report and the assessment of benefited property
for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota
Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an
estimated total cost of the improvement of $1,262,362.00.
2. A Public Hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 19th
day of November, 1930 in the cafeteria of the Wayzata Senior High School
at 305 Vicksburg Lane at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and
published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in tavor there -o : Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Neils
and Schneider
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
