HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-776CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 20th day of October 19 80The f9l1owin ethers were present: Mayro Hunt, ounce me ers avenpof �—Floyt, Neils and �c�ineider The following members were absent: none Councilmember Nei -Ts introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80- 776 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO ENTER AN ORDER WITH RESPECT TO A HAZARDOUS AND DANGEROUS BUILDING LOCATED AT 14217 COUNTY ROAD 9. WHEREAS, the Building Inspector of the City of Plymouth has made a written report to the City Council relative to the condition of the building at 14217 County Road 9 in the City of Plymouth; and WHEREAS, in said report the Building Inspector has recommended that proceedings be commenced for the repair of said buildings or, in the alternative, for its razing and removal, all pursuant to Sections 473.15 et. seq. of Minnesota Statutes; and WHEREAS, said reports have been examined and considered by the Council; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the Mayor and City Manager be authorized and directed to enter Orders, copies of which are attached as Exhibit "A", to the owners of the property located at 14217 County Road 9, City of Plymouth, all as provided by the provisions of Sections 463.15 et. seq. of Minnesota Statutes. 2. That the City Attorney is authorized and directed to cause said Order to be served upon the owners of record of said pre:uises, or their agents, upon any occupants therein and upon all lien holders of record and to proceed with the enforcement of said Order as provided by Minnesota Statutes. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote to favor thereof: Mayor Hunt. Councilmembers navpnpnrt, Hoyt. Neils and Schneider The following voted against or a sta ned: Nnnp Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
