HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-775CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 20th day of October , 1980 . The following members were present: Mayor Hunt. Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt, Neils and Schneider, The following members were absent: none Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80-775 APPROVING 1981-1983 LABOR CONTRACT WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT LABOR SERVICES, LOCAL 18 WHEREAS, representatives of the City and Law Enforcement Labor Services, Local 18, have met to negotiate a labor contract for the bargaining unit represented by Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc.; and WHEREAS, the City Manager submitted to this City Council the proposed labor contract which has been negotiated between the City and the Union and has recommended its approval by the City Council; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the labor contract negotiated between the City of Plymouth and Law Enforcement Labor Services, Local 18, for the period of January 1, 1981 through December 31, 1983 be and the same is hereby approved. FURTHER that the Mayor and City Manager be authorized to execute the labor agreement on behalf of the City of Plymouth. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favorthereof: MaYer Hunt, Co n.ilm mbers Davenport- HUt, Neils and Schneider The following voted against ora stained: NnnP WherF.;pon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
