Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meetina of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
6th day of October , 1980 . The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt,ounce mem ers avenport, Hoyt, Neils and Schneider
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-764
REQUESTING MN/DOT
CONDUCT SPEED LIMIT STUDIES
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth recently made roadway improvements to the following
streets:
Vicksburg Lane - Hwy. 55 to County Road 47
Plymouth Blvd. - Hwy. 55 to County Road 9
Pineview Lane - Hamel Road to County Road 47
Larch Lane - Hamel Road to County Road 9
New County Road 9 - Vicksburg Lane to Old County Road 9
23rd Ave. - Niagara Lane to Fernbrook Lane
Hamel Road - Larch Lane to Zachary Lane
Medina Road - Niagara Lane to Vicksburg Lane
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Transportation will upon request from local authorities
conduct an engineering and traffic study to ascertain a safe and reasonable speed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
that the Commissioner of Transportation undertake a traffic engineering study on the
above streets.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Hoyt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the

Ho t and Schneider
