Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
6th day of October , 1980 . The following members were
- present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt, Neils and Schneider
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-755
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
PROJECT NO. 017
RIDGEMOUNT COMMUNITY PLAYFIELD
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resoution passed by the City Council on February 25, 1980,
the consulting engineer, Bather, Ringrose, Wolsfeld, Jarvis, Gardner, Inc., has
prepared plans and specifications for the Ridgemount Community Playfield;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE LITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1) Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2) I'Le City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official
paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon
the making of such mprovement under such approved plans and specifi-
cations. The advertisement shall be published for three days, shall
specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received
by the City Clerk until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 30, 1980, at which
time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the
Plymouth City Center building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth,
Minnesota, by the City Manager and that no bids will be considered
unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash
deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the
City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
